Now, landlords and property managers can print or export complete email and text communication and Notes & History logs. This new enhancement provides a convenient way to review, store, and print entire email messages, text messages, and Notes & History logs.

Still, quickly retrieving documentation of these communications when needed can prove invaluable.
Rentec Direct property management software streamlines your record-keeping by automatically storing communications that occurred through the software and significant changes to tenants, vendors, owners, and even properties and banks. This organized, detailed history helps ensure compliance and resolve disputes, preventing a lapse in communication from becoming a lengthy, costly legal process. With this new enhancement, you can now easily print or export complete records of email and text messages, and Notes & History records, eliminating the need for multiple screenshots and saving you valuable time and effort.

- Auto notifications to tenants
- Email and text messages initiated through the software to tenants, vendors, and owners

- Communications mailed or emailed using the Mailing Wizard
- Scheduled report deliveries to owners
Notes & History (Recorded in Your Account)
- When a tenant was added to the software
- Changes to tenant leases
- Manually added notes
- Bank reconciliations

How it Works
The New Feature is pretty straightforward and saves you time. Each tenant, vendor/payee, and owner has a “Messaging” file for communications through your Rentec Direct software (and that you’ve added). There is also a Notes & History file for each tenant, vendor/payee, owner, property, and bank that automatically captures significant changes in the software and allows you to add notes manually. These files can be accessed and printed from their respective menu.
The following steps will guide you through accessing and printing messages and notes & history from the tenant’s menu.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Tenants,
- Right-click on a tenant and select Messaging or Notes & History from the menu
- Click on the printer icon at the top of the list
- Select from All pages, odd or even, or custom pages, then select other printing preferences.
- Click on Print
