Rentec Direct’s Green Initiatives Result in Reduction of Environmental Impact
Property management software company, Rentec Direct, cuts nearly 55,000 kWh of energy consumption over last two years

GRANTS PASS, ORE. –Rentec Direct, the highest-rated property management software solution, has implemented several new sustainability initiatives in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint and environmental impact. Updates to the company headquarters in Grants Pass, Ore. including the installation of a 7.4kW solar system, full building LED light replacements, and the addition of high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment have resulted in Rentec Direct reducing energy consumption by 55,000 kWh since moving into the building in September 2018.

Rentec Direct moved into its current company headquarters in September 2018. Since then, the company has launched a number of new green initiatives:
- A complete heating and cooling system overhaul featuring high-efficiency Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio technology
- Full building LED light replacements and light timer system
- Installation of a 7.4kW solar system
- Recycling program
- A refillable water station and reusable water bottles provided to all employees
- Efficient landscaping practices like sprinkler timers and low run-off
- As a cloud-based software solution, Rentec Direct is a paperless office driven by cloud storage
