Based on your feedback from the feature request system, we’ve added two features to the print receipt function.
- Below the amount now prints the tenant’s current balance. This feature is optional and can be disabled (see below).
- Below the date, we are including a unique receipt number. Having a unique number printed on each receipt provides for better accounting controls.
By default, the “Current Balance” line is not printed for existing Rentec users because as a general rule of thumb we do not want to change the default behaviors of the system. You can however immediately add this feature by visiting Settings, Program Defaults, click “go to advanced settings” in the upper-right, then modify option #14 (Suppress tenant balance data from printed receipts?) to say No. Save your changes and your receipts will now include the current tenant balance.
